I didn't like how frequently mean they were to Starlord. There's "riffing with the boys" type ball breaking but I feel like they were more or less relentlessly critical and mean towards him and he doesn't even try to defend himself, he just gives in to being ridiculed and belittled.I began to question this team's longevity based on their chemistry, they don't seem like they really like each other that much.

It's really fucking good, and perfectly emulates that feeling of finding this type of music for the first time in that point in time. I listened to the whole thing when ou're in your room as a kid and reading the fucking Rolling Stone magazine with a band interview (great touch), and it just clicked. I completely understood how kids and teens felt in that time period when they first heard Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio, etc. Listened to this shit on repeat for months after that.

What I like about this is that it feels like a legit comic to vidya adaptation instead of being an MCU ripoff outside of a few elements (Peter's jacket, using retro licensed music, and the actual MCU outfits).Outside of that, it got a whole lot of lore, personality and progression that is very much its own thing, and I think I'd take this team over any other interpretation of the guardians.The OST and licensed song picks are god tier.The gameplay is a tiny bit subpar though, so I recommend playing on normal or easy, as anything harder is just needlessly fighting bullet sponge enemies. And I wish they incorporated the licensed songs and more importantly, their original band into the gameplay, but I guess the devs are fully aware the suits will gut their awesome OST to pieces within 10 years or so, or maybe it costs more to implement the songs that way, who knows.Gud game for those who are in the mood for something short and sweet or are big fans of GotG.
