Moving the franchise from the cinema to tv I think was deadly in terms of losing a lot of the more epic qualtiies of it.

All the civilians are saved, of course, but the intent was there. But also yeah, it's Disney. The new Maul show is fine, but it was always going to be held back by being made in the current year under Disney.

Often having these spin-offs for supporting characters is just a terrible idea to begin with, Jack Sparrow works well as a supporting guy who dips in and out the story in the first one, becomes terrible when he's the main character and on the screen a t all times in the 4th, fifth, and again, no story to actually tell.
