fuck you I liked it
why do you have to insult me to praise this game?let's all be gentle and kind.
>>737305371I lowkirkenuinely agree.
It's the best one
bongs were incredibly butthurt when this game out, it was an international crisis
>>737305227I agree, Conor was a good protagonist - he just has the unfortunate fate of following after the golden boy Ezio.Besides, the game also had an incredible amount of Native gals on display - not seen in the industry since.
I didn't mind it but holy shit why did they think we needed a 6 hour tutorial in a fucking Asscreed game
When Assassin's Creed was for mature adults
>>737305227I loved hunting in the frontier
>>737305227I liked it too, quite a bit actually. It was still bad tho
>>737305227This really needed it's own trilogy like ezio. Making half of the game a tutorial was criminal. The game felt like it ended before it even started.
>>737306563Forgot to add, the fact that a white chick who looks like this voiced the brown native girl is crazy
Haythem was based.Story was better than any AC gameMap was perfect too.For me it is the best one after Brotherhood
>Christian Bale on the coverEzioslop disappointed me, is this more like the first game?
>>737305227>buggy as fuck>absolutely squandered the Revolutionary War setting>Assassins barely in Assassin's Creed>conclusion for the modern part of the story ends on a complete wet fartThere were parts I liked about it but it was by far the weakest in the series up to that point and it practically led to me abandoning the entire franchise altogether.
>>737305749>amerimutts have to depict themselves as badass assassians killing brits even tho in reality they got BTFO'd until the frogs came to rescue themfixed it, americunt. hope it was worth it to be an israeli pawn
>>737305227My favorite in the series. And I really like Connor as a character, pretty inspirational to me. Most odds are against him, gets constantly lambasted left, right and center by anything and anyone, is forcefully involved in bullshit that shouldn't concern him, against his will. The guy just wanted a simple, reserved life in his village, with his mom, and all of that was taken away from him, by forces way beyond his control. And despite all that, he doesn't turn into some whiny, defeated, spineless victim. He continues to remain uber-resilient and push onwards. Even if his decisions or initiatives turn out to be total blunders, he still continues. And it's not like all of that perseverance was all for nothing, because he did achieve results through his journey, and encountered sources of positive feedback. He managed to kill most of the templar head honchos in that Boston-New York area, built that settlement with all those people he encountered throughout his journey, who felt more like an extended family, he found closure in the matters regarding his dad (even if bittersweet) and most importantly he met Achilles, which acted as a mentor figure and more of a father than Haytham ever was. But he made all of that happen through his sheer, unfiltered nerves of steel, committed to seeing things through and never compromising himself despite all the losses.
>>737305227I only have acess to the remaster, is there any mod to fix the horrible demaster lighting?
boring as fuckshit cities
>>737305227>Like anal creed
>>737305227Kino ending. I rewatch it every so often when I'm reminded of it. That music, holy shit...
Unironically prefered the Vita game over this.
>>737305227Is this the game that popularized the whole>collect 15 bear anuses bullshit for crafting upgrades and gear?
>>737305227I didn't care much for the MC, especially after Ezio, nor the story, but it was one of the last good AC games, after the Black Fags it all started going downhill
>>737305227Me too SAR death to the british
I loved it for the story, setting, animations, ost and visuals and I think it's an underrated part of the series, with Connor being one of my favorite characters.but>introducing the multi 100% sync requirements for missions>dumbing down the parkour system in favor of more contextual inputs and flashier anims>THE FOG OF FUCKING WAR ON THE MAP AND VIEWPOINTS UNVEILING MAYBE 30% OF THE WHOLE THING>Desmond segments being absolutely risk-free, linear and braindead (also Daniel Cross going down like a bitch)>the convoluted as fuck economy system to make money where your convoys can get bugged and are stuck forever>checkers against nightmare AIare inexcusable. Amongst probably a bunch of other things I'm forgetting.Plus it's near impossible to play the original game with all dlc even if you legally own it, because they decided they need you to connect the singleplayer part of the game to online server verification shit too. I want ubisoft to burn to the fucking ground.
>>737305227HOW MANY FOOLS CAN I KILL TODAY TOO MANY TO COUNT, DON'T GET IN MY WAY
This + Rogue.
>>737310553Wonderful effortpost, anonI never played any AC game yet but I do hope AC games before before 3 have interesting protagonists as much as Connor
>>737310553Hell yea. I have absolutely no idea why people hated his character.
>>737305227I like it too. Biggest complaint is that they never show when Conner and Haytham meet. And that New York doesn't really feel or look like New York.
HOW MANY FOOLS CAN I KILL TODAY
>>737305227WHERE IS CHARLES LEE
>>737305227Asscreed peaked with this and Black Flag
>>737306720>white chick I was surprised to read that's a literal injun doe, her name is the same as the character she voices
>>737314541Altair is a great protagonist. Start with the very first game.>>737315476Mostly girls upset he wasn't sexy and funny like Ezio.>>737315645>CHARLES LEEYou genuinely feel bad for the guy by the end of the game.
>>737305749It has been years since I played this but I recall they didn't portray the American side super positively either.
>>737305371fuck you the game is ok
>>737305806>Besides, the game also had an incredible amount of Native gals on display - not seen in the industry since.Weird, you'd think video games going woke would have given us more Native protagonists and characters, not less.
Lee and Connor sharing a drink before the assassination was pretty kinohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SZ59YHytUc
>>737315925This scene and the "sit a moment and rest" button prompt in Revelations are two of the peak moments in the series
>>737315914no one cares about natives, diversity=niggers
>>737305227This one is my favorite too, it not just introduced a better combat system with lots of unique mechanics, it also made stealth gameplay fun with more than just hiding inside a cart
>>737305227Connor is one of the best AssCreed protagonists, people were just mad he wasn't native american Ezio
>>737319173>girls were just mad he wasn't native american EzioFixed that for ya
>>737313464A saar's son's Creed
>>737315576>they never show when Conner and Haytham meetBut they do? It's one of the winter missions in the woods you get from Washington iirc. Connor gets ambushed by Haytham in an old church. Unless you're referring to some novel related meet-up they didn't put in game?
>>737320225
>>737320237It's been well over a decade since I played it, but I remember being very confused when one sequence ends, and the next begins and suddenly Haytham and Conner are working on something together despite never having met before in the narrative.Did I miss something?
I liked the naval combat the most. For some reason it felt better than Black Flag and Rogue
>>737305227Protowoke.
Frontier was mehNew York and Boston both sucked compared to AC2 cities, and what came after in Unity. I guess they are about the same quality of Black Flag's cities. However the parkour, animations, the dual wield with tomahawk were all sick as hell at the time. Really the game's biggest fuck up was such an annoying protagonist.
>>737321309The movement was weightier; ships from BF onwards handled like speedboats. There was also slightly more skill involved in aiming the broadsides.
>>737310551the frogs said they would only step in if the burgers were able to demonstrate they were capable enough to kick the brits' ass themselves the frogs ended up entering the waryou figure out the implication
Rogue was the last Asscreed I really enjoyed, the ones that came out afterwards ranged from okayish (Unity, Origins, Mirage) to complete shit (Odyssey, Valhalla)I ended up dropping Shadows halfway through because even though it had the best combat and stealth out of the RPG games, it still had the same shitty open world design from Odyssey and Valhalla.
>>737310551British are the biggest contributors to globo homo and Israel
>>737321457>such an annoying protagonistAnnoying? If anything Conner had too little personality, not too much.
>>737310551Canada is the prime example of the US if the US stayed under British ruleI'd say I'm happy with the outcome of the war
>native story was almost completely abandoned after Connor's introduction>nothing about the Assassins gets explained until Rogue>everything about the revolution felt bootstrapped just to fellate the American audienceThis game tried too be too much and ended up being a mess.
>>737321765>Shit that affect no one everI literally wasn't even aware of the change, because yep, it doesn't fucking matter, keep being outraged with the trannies living rent free in your head.
>>737321595>Rogue's entire marketing revolves around THIS TIME YOU'RE THE BAD GUY, VERY COOL, VERY EDGY>play game>actually the Assassins somehow just so happen to all manage to be complete and total dickheads exactly at the time the game takes place so technically you're the good guy and morally justified in killing the entire chapter and also the Templars are all pretty chill dudes who actually have the best intentions for the people and want to achieve their goals through non-authoritarian methods this time around, how convenient
>>737305227It's my second favorite after Rogue.
>>737321847>so what if the canary dropped dead, that doesn't affect me, I am not a canary!
>>737319173>same cope since the game released AC3fags are delusional kek
>>737322090Yeah I definitely didn't like Rogue for the story, though I did find it entertaining especially near the end where everyone you assassinate one after another was actually a distraction all along
>>737320404Why is he carrying a toilet seat? Does it work for streets too?
>>737310551you don't want to use that argument when the bongs were the og israeli sugar daddies
>>737323217He's in India, it's convenient to have that
