>>737308602Is Xbox emulation any better now?
>>737312173Nope, Xemu has made almost no progress since 2022 or so.
>>737312173I have no frame of reference since it's my first time using it. Forza runs mostly fine though it kinda slows down at the start of the race with all of the cars clumped together but after a couple seconds it runs fine.
How do I emulate the racing wheel for yabause? I plug in my wheel and it just auto fills every input window before I even click a button, but ingame it doesn’t register me pressing anything or turning at all
>>737312529According to google's ai: "Recent xemu updates (2025–2026) have significantly improved performance, enabling over 80% of the Xbox library to be playable, with major advancements in Vulkan API support for smoother graphics and XISO format support. Key improvements include better rendering accuracy, widescreen hacks, and integrated snapshot (save state) functionality."
>>737312958Xemu website fakes their numbers, this is a long time documented thing, there's games full of graphical problems and game breaking bugs that are deemed "playable".So no, it's not 80% it's more like 30%.
Going through the PS2 Prince of Persia games since getting the native pc ports to work correctly is not worth the effort.Sands of Time as a timeless (heh) feeling and look but fucking Warrior Within could only have been made during a specific mid 2000s period it's so corny.
tomodachi, been silly fun playing with some friends.Going through megaman command mission X on gc (runs worse than PS2 but has a bunch of extra content), been playing some other JRPGs too but struggling to find stuff I haven't played already, it's a weird feeling to genuinely go through a list of 500 games and be able to say "Hm, I've played all of these".

Onimusha 3. What an odd sequel. Weird structure, feels like it's taking forever to start properly. It's like proto RE Requiem where pacing suffers from constantly shifting between two main characters.
