You know, when you put it like that, they're really not bad at all, an actual force for good on the rimworld. It doesn't even really take you that long to earn enough honor to be considered worthy of joining the court. Though considering that they're usually given some kind of broken prefix, they clearly fled from something and need the support, so there's incentive to not be assholes.

Do we know if the Emperor is in the fleet or is it just the Stellarch? The title and requirements exist, but nobody can ever spawn with it.

So that might mean the Stellarch and their flotilla is in exile. My money's on the emperor's world having been subsumed by an archotech, the decapitation of leadership causing a succession war, and this Stellarch picked up feet and beat off to the rim to get away from it.

Also I don't like that the gene system results in Mr Potato mutant kids if different xenotypes hook up. Should have better rules for dominant genes.

Alright, a lot of people consider them the worst, but that's not really true. They have some pretty bad downsides, but none that are dealbreakers. Most of the time atleast. Flame Belch is okay in a pinch, but they're best trait is their basekit jogger which makes them good at kiting and a boon to general labor. I want impid wife

Really good, arguably better than baseliner. Bad genes are super easy to work around, put them on a night schedule or keep them under roofs most of the time and they're happy. Fast wound healing is amazing. Good mining is quite nice. Potential to be NASTY melee fighters

Also really good. Psychite dependency is extremely managable and means these gangly niggers can snort coke freely for mood or for raids. They don't have any serious downsides
>Highmates
Another xenotype that reddit hates. They're actually one of the best. Here you have a colonist that can do most important kinds of work that's perpetually happy and gives a perma stat/mood boost to whoever they fuck with the only real caveat is that they can't directly fight (but can still psycast and comes prepackaged with psy hypersensitivity) is a great value proposition

Now here's an actually bad xenotype. Sleepy is a massive penalty to productivity, way worse than people realize. They eat more on top of that. Robust and strong melee damage is usually great, but not paired with slow wound healing. And unlike Impids who can avoid damage by kiting with their fast running, Yttakin get fucking move speed penalties for WEARING CLOTHES, so they're more likely to take damage. Or if you decide to let them run around naked, they might as well be dead anyway BECAUSE THEY'RE FUCKING NAKED. These loud roaring wookie furry fucks are only good for chemfuel

Easily the worst xenotype in the game. Trotter hands is the single worst gene in the game, makes them bad at literally everything. And for what? So that they can waste your raw food? I have a nutrient paste dispenser up in my colony usually by like the 3rd day. And reduced pain just means they're gonna fucking die anyway because they're no tankier than baseline. Fucking hate piggers. Only good for their organs
