>>737323620The first BMZ isn't that bad when it comes to how much anime weeb shit it has, it's mostly a faithful remake of the NES game with some extra stuff added.2 and 3 are definitely full on Inti anime games however, they are entirely original content unlike the first game.

I wasn't really interested in the later entries.>>737323389>Ok, where do I start?Blaster Master Zero is honestly the easiest place to start.Blaster Master NES is very similar to BMZero, to the point where it has all the same locations and basically the same boss fights. Except for the very ending, BMZero is basically a remake of BM-NES. The biggest difference is that the NES game has no savegame, meaning that you're supposed to play thru the entire game in one setting, and you're supposed to learn the route thru areas to play thru them quickly and complete the game. If you ever wonder why there are so many "empty" caves in BMZero that just have a bunch of powerup pickups and nothing else inside, those are for the NES run where you jump in, power up your weapon, and then leave to go to the next area.The rest of the Blaster Master games are direct sequels to Zero. Feel free to play BM-NES after BM-Zero if you like, just to check it out, but I don't think I'd recommend it over just playing BM-Zero even with how easy it turned out as a result.
