Pacific Drive is quite fun, you should try it and you should also ignore the flags.
All right, redbull me about the flags because I played it for 15 hours and I have no idea what the fuck you are on about, blud.
I did try it and dropped it because the mission-based structure was boring.
>>737322170>>737322616The tranny flags you can use to decorate your car.Leaving that and the gay couple aside, the game is actually fairly boring due to repetitiveness.
>>737322616If you must...
>>737322170>think game opens up and starts adding more wacky things and more places to loot>it doesn'thuh?
>>737322170When do you unlock the BLM sticker?
I really liked it but could have done without all the gay shit
>>737322170I tried to like it, but what I expected was cool extratherestical mission encounters and what I actually got was a walkingsimulator in a car with fucking car micro-management
>>737322741>it doesn'tHow? Mid and deep zones are quite different.>>737322940As soon as you unlock the machine, but you can mod them to whatever you want.
>>737323241misquoted >>737322856
>>737323241Ok since you seem to have actually played it, how did you do for endzones? I pretty much stopped collecting resources for updates and went all scavenger. A couple tires and lamps on the roof, but doors and others I ripped out as I went from cars.
>>737323471To be honest in my 5 runs of the game I pretty much just ignore the deep zone resources, all of them. I don't think there's anything important there if you just want to complete the game. I only got the resources in my main save after I already completed all of the missions.
>>737323791I've only done one but yeah, collecting resources in endgame seemed useless as it started having railroaded missions with the shield. I liked the jump upgrade though just for heck of it.I think it has a nice atmosphere, and I don't really play games where you collect a shitton of garbage to get upgrades but I liked the idea of the drive enough to keep on it. I thought the hazards and storms were diverse enough.
>>737322170Is this like Motorstorm?
>>737322170Nah, I wanted a spooky, Stalker like, car trip sim. Not a level based car extraction game. Was hoping for "The Long Drive" but better. The anomalies are neat though.
>>737324624Not at all, it's a survival/car game. It feels like it a bit sometimes, when you're speeding dodging meteors and radiated ground, but you only have a wagon as a choice of vehicles. But I'd like a new Motorstorm.
>>737322170Played the demo, didn't much care for it.
>>737322170I did try it and it wasn't fun>drive 5 feet>get out of car>crowbar a lock>hold grinder on radio>impact hammer a generator>get back in car>repeat 10 times>return to garage>craft a slightly better grinder and a new door that looks hideous>loop back to topAnd it never changes, 20 hours of picking up the same resources with the same tools to make your car progressively uglier and all that changes is how long the trips are and the color of the random trash "hazards" that pop out of the ground in front of your car for you to turn slightly to the side and drive around.
>>737325240That's how I started to look at it after a moment but then I started to be more risky and I think that's when it gets fun. Grinding ruins it, and you have to do it in the beginning, but then you can pretty much makedo which is the best. I don't know how to exactly change it, but I think it'd benefit from more focus on picking up actual parts and gas from cars than trying to build a tank.
>>737322170game is boring but this track really got mehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brTZXoxuzFc
>>737325439If you skip out on gathering resources then all that's left is driving through empty maps listening to a bunch of old fags argue on the radio and occasionally veering slightly right or left to avoid a tumbleweed. The game sucks in all regards.
>>737325747The fags I agree, but I did like dodging anomalies, so don't call them empty. Night, rain, these dolls, or seekers, or bigger monsters down the road, driving past them was all nice. They had a great idea for the game but execution is lacking.
>>737324548>>737325240You should lower the resource costs in the settings to 0.10 or so. I lowered it to 0.5 and it was still too much.
>>737326281That's another thing, I did hate how much you could setup in the options. It's like they had no idea what to balance for.
>>737322170Lesbian tranny gameNo thanks
>>737322170You lost tranny
>>737326383I love it, you can change it to however you want it. The devs are stupid, the amount of grind in this game doesn't make sense. There are so many car parts that I didn't get to try because the game ends faster than you can collect stuff.
>>737325747i hated every second someone was yapping on the radioholy fuck i was expecting stalker drive and got some podcast instead
>>737326723I went through "normal" and disliked that I could always just tweak the knobs when I had trouble. I don't like it even if I liked the game after all.
Can't believe people do this kind of work for free.
Looks like scuffed CP2077 in both gameplay and art.
>>737329223Which game is that?
>>737325240I had the same thoughts, the game also has unreal engine⢠stuttering
>>737322170Fuck you i was hyped about it i wanted a the long drive with horror shit i played the demo and got dumpster diving sim woth occasional driving interrupted by loading screens
>>737322170nah the flags just make me pirate their shit
>>737332058>dumpster diving simThat's weirdly accurate.
>>737322170I want to drive, shoot and loot. There's no shooting, right? Not even even basic stuff, like zombies or feral dogs?
>>737333271There's a flare gun, and flares kill some anomalies like the test dummies in the picture, but that's about it. Sometimes you'll have to clear the way, but otherwise they're not too dangerous. Sometimes they'll even help you in... some ways. These dummies are the main anomaly of the game and they behave like Weeping Angels.
