This game is cool, but the final third turning into a super-jank fps makes it hard to recommend. And I'm not really sure what the dev was thinking with the final "boss".

Because games are so much better when they are being designed by several talented people with a good eye for art direction and understand what makes a game great along with the willingness to take risks unlike large dev teams that have like a few 1000s devs with no real direction. Honestly, corporations will never be able to make art good again. They only know how to make shit soulless and safe and bland as shit. They're too retarded to understand this.

Oh yeah I just tried it and it doesn't even support analog movement and when using gamepad it's still just digital on stick.
Somehow this reminds me of Okami. Has similar tone.
