>>737352729I started playing AC way back when AC1 was released and I really enjoyed the modern segments. I thought they continued the animus plot nicely in their own timeline so to speak. I even vaguely recall rumors Ubi wanted to do games in that order: Ezio - Another Assassin (later to be Connor) - Desmond. It's just Ezio came out to be a very entertaining and likeable character so he rightfully got 2 more games after AC2. I believe Nolan North mentioned it off hand during some meet-up with fans. I really wish we got that AC in modern times with Desmond where he gets to use all the skills learned via Bleeding Effect.

Inside-gaming says it's not but the original leaker got multiple aspects of the current leaks right like no Modern Day, more Edward content via cut content being redone, and more or less got the release date right so there's no reason to not trust the original leaker over Inside-gaming currently. That means it's likely going to play like ass, have Diablo Loot unless they're sticking to how Valhalla or Mirage did it, one-shotting with assassinations will be a toggle, and we're going to be restricted from going to certain parts of the map due to level limits.If it's based off of Shadows' gameplay then only the hardest difficulty will have no instakill assassination option and they'll use the HP bar system that makes that mostly irrelevant anyway.

Just finished my replay of this last weekThe ship combat and sailing around with shanties is exactly as good as you rememberBut yeah every single memory sequence had at least two tailing missions. I got so annoyed of sneaking around at the end I just went full loud whenever the game allowed me. Was pretty funny when you get to the ancient alien ruins and the dude is like "will you murder these innocent guardians for your lust for treasure?" and gives you optional objectives to take them down non-lethally. I just shot all of them

Also when the sun starts to set, it literally looks like there's a massive yellow fog over the horizonAlso, the effect for lights from houses you'd see in the distance at night are absent in the EC, making the city look completely dead
