I finished the first part. I started it years ago, and made it to the final trial, and then I waited 4 years and now I've finished it. And honestly? I think that the gamelyochwbkrofib hrjisifhebrkmfktkowkxjbthyosppskcjtntktoptofj tkkdkdjeonfbtbt.

So those are my thoughts on this game. All in all, I'm glad I played the localization, and not the weeb transliteration made by the German cunt.

Cool, now you can get to the good part.

1-1 is ok
1-2 is boring
1-3 is kino
I liked the emotional aspect of 1-4, how the cop meddled with the crime scene to have a date with this wife...
the robbers in 1-5 were a fun bunch

>fun bunch
That describes the extent of the game's energy to me. "It was a lot of fun". That isn't nearly enough.
The Phoenix Wright trilogy, it's always like
>FIRE'S COMMIN OUTTA MY ASS
levels of funny, you know? This is... a bit less than that. But I still liked it. But for all that this has authenticity, and consistency of Shu Takumi's authorship which Dual Destinies, Spirit of Justice or those Miles Edgeworth games did not, I do have to concede there's something about the energy and snappiness, and maybe even gameplay-emphasis of the other titles I prefer as far as "post-Trilogy" games go.
It does clarify for me that while Shu Takumi has the authenticity to expand and change things about this series, the kind of raw energy he had as director of the first 3 GBA games, probably translated better to the newbie energy of Takeshi Yamazaki taking the reins on the Edgeworth games.
All said, nothing in this game was nearly as bad as Turnabout Ablaze. A tranny on the Ace Attorney Discord told me not to get hyped for these games getting localized because "Case 5 is literally the same shit as Turnabout Ablaze", but this proves that trannies are maybe slightly autistic. She didn't know what she was talking about because what makes Ablaze such a horrible finale is that it keeps unfolding its mysteries as if you're supposed to be emotionally invested into a golden statue being transfered with a clothing wire across the "extraterritorial" buildings, and feel anything about Alba as a villain. But in this game, they're just telling their story, so the whole time the mysteries, while not very advanced, are worth caring about because you know the next "emotional" beat is hiding right behind it, and you also care about Ginny.
The fact that this game put a lot of empathy towards each villain was also great. I didn't expect the final villain to be sympathetic, so that was great.

So did you like it or not? Also play the second part, it's better
