The worst is Quickstarter which just means like two hours of Dice & Cube farming and drone racing which is another hour or so to buy the parts. After that it's just getting used to how the drone flies for the races, but you can savescum the entire grand prix anyway, and JER comes with the cheat DLC by default so you can just use the cheat frames.

As I recall, they do the same villain reveal twice in a row where Character A appears and says he's behind it all, only for Character B to appear and say he's actually behind it all. Ryuji and the old guy shooting each other is a pretty good scene, where they just stand there and empty their guns into each other.

It completely shat over the original balance and gameplay of the original which already had balancing issues, forces you to deal with the cards which break the non-Battle Dungeon gameplay even if you don't use the active effects, added in Battle Dungeon bosses to replace minibosses that mandate card usage, and introduced game-breaking stuff like high chance proccing elemental weapons and the Element Seal that virtually all endgame swords have so you just stunlock everything 24/7.The Seal system is also insanely worse than the Symbol system and there's so much more grinding added because of it. They even managed to ruin most of the endgame weapons due to the Seal system. Amon's sword is completely useless in IK while in Ishin it's the best sword in the game. The Memoir content is also pure padding.
