The wolf sections are so ass it takes the sails out from the rest of the game.The dungeon items are so cool but underutilized in favor of more hookshot or light the torch puzzles. Hell the bow is not needed outside of the Goron Mines and a handful of sections in Lakebed where you need bomb arrows. Even then once you learn how to gale boomerang jump you can skip half the game.

Emulate the Wii U version on Cemu instead if it's not too late. It has better textures(I usually hate HD textures on old games but this is one of the few that do it right), has gyro aim, a hard mode that the game desperately needs because every single enemy in the original only does a quarter of a heart of damage, and fixes some annoying aspects of the game. Cemu also has a color correction mod built in that you can pick from a few profiles and really makes it look a hell of a lot nicer. I went for the vibrant one and it adds some much needed contrast to the game. You can also run it at like 8K and it doesn't even need much GPU power to do so.
I'm waiting for the PC-port, which is supposed to come out any day now

The setpieces of the game are amongst the highlights of the franchise.Dungeons Wise, it's pretty fun and has some of the stronger elements to them. The items are used in cool fun ways, even if they are very situational for the specific dungeon you get them.All in all, i think it's good game. I think that 8.8 is deserved. Mostly because i don't see that as a bad score at all.TP is kino and better than WW. Although you might want to wait a bit for the actual PC recomp port thingy. That's probably going to be the best way to play through it.
