After playing Pragmata I find it funny how ideologically opposed it is to Star Force. It's an interesting reflection of the times these games were made, how Star Force is mostly gung ho optimism about AI society and only has small undertones of negativity with stuff like the Satella IDs in 3. Meanwhile now that those concepts are more culturally relevant Pragmata is all about how terrible the future could be with AI and surveillance running rampant.

You could see some skepticism about technology with the Study Waves in Libra scenario and the Terra Condor scenario shows the Shaman anxiety about the future of his country and his efforts to bring development despite living in a happy society, at least comparatively speaking. I think Megaman also had a relatively grim view of technology with the X series and Zero series too but that didn't stop our heroes from seeking the end conflicts despite being uncertain about what to do.

I know this is Star Force, but I always wondered why Battle Network never reworked chip codes. There's a million things about them I could complain about, but so much would be allieviated by just letting me change the code. Not for free and obviously without the ability to make any chip any code, but think about this example. A chip comes in E, F G and H codes. You want to run an H folder, but getting thjs chip in that code is a colossal pain in the ass. Maybe the enemy is rare, maybe the code only drops at a specific rank, maybe it's both.Chip traders exist, why not have an additional type for this? Trade 4 or 5 or even 10 of a chip in exchange for one copy of it in whatever of its available codes you want. Hell, maybe even give every chip one to three codes only obtainable in this way to increase folder building options.

Starforce DX in other hand did something like what you want but for star cards, there was a trader that accepted 10 copies of a card in exchange for a rare star version of said cards that boosted the ability of the copies. Obviously it's a romhack but the idea is there.
