you can talk about "soul" all you want, but these games objectively suck to play.the rentals are deliberately awful and even importing your pokemon from the GB games is a chore because levels don't scale. if your pokemon is level 56, you are FUCKED.

Pokemon didn't get good until gen 3. The fact that dozens of Pokemon don't have a single STAB move is a total joke. Or it's something unusable like Poison Sting or Lick.Gen 3 deserved a quality battle sim on the 'cube.
