Daigo is washed, though. He's likeable still because of his legendary status, and he's headstrong and has excellent sportsmanship (although that's true of Asian players in general) despite his poor results. Not to say I'm not excited to see this match -- I definitely will, but a long set against AngryBird, Punk, Fuudo, Leshar, Blaz, EndingWalker (I believe EW went 5-0 against Mena a few months ago) would be just as high level, if not more so than with Daigo.

His playstyle is very akin to Daigo's and his ability to adapt is reminiscent of Daigo in Street Fighter IV era. Great player that had he had been born in Japan instead of China, I have no doubts he would have been acclaimed one of the "six" fighting Gods. Daigo is probably going to get trashed by Mena. He really seems to have a lot of difficulty adapting to Blanka and he is way past those years when he could learn another player live and find a gap to turn over the set like he did with Justin when he pulled Balrog at Evo finals. I like the idea of what they are doing but definitely not with Daigo in it, he way past his prime and his results attest to that. Even Tokido is already showing signs of age and he is five years younger and much more healthy.
