>like driving a car IRL>want to get picrel+H shifter>look at the pricebro why does it have to be so expensive all the time I just wanna drive some cars in BeamNG
>>737454497people are getting rid of their wheels all the time just look on ebay and marketplaces around you
>>737454661this, i'm not even interested in these and i see racing wheels go for under 20 dollars on auctions all the time.
>>737454661>people are getting rid of their wheels all the timelel tbf not surprising>be like me>like driving a car IRL>invest in a wheel>gathers dust most of the time>sell it on eBay/Craigslist/OLX/whateverWonder how many of these go through this cycle, not everyone is so into sim racing to have a dedicated rig for them.
>>737454661>look at my shithole's marketplace>used but at the same price you could get it newJEW NIGGER KIKES
Just buy one used. Going to be honest with you though, you're going to enjoy a belt driven one a lot more. They're more expensive, but they feel way better.
>>737454497unless you build a motion sim rig you have no reason to need a wheel and pedals, at least half of driving a car is using the physical feedback of the car's actual movements. If you don't have motion sim then using fake wheels, pedals, and shifters is just larper cope.
>>737454879>you're going to enjoy a belt driven one a lot moreAren't those Logitech ones belt driven? These always tend to be cheaper but I've read the quality is trash, and I'd know something about that having a G502 HERO and a MX Master 3S.>>737454921Half of driving a car is the fear of dying if you smash into shit. II remember BeamNG having an info page about why it doesn't feel as real and one of the reasons was literally this lol
>>737454805bc people keep buying it kekit is the same with processors. you list one for 80% of the OG price, the next day someone scoops it, and your pricing is either spot on or youre leaving money on the table basically
>>737455037which is why ideally you would be playing in vr as well
>>737455037The logitech ones are gear driven, that's why they sound like a dying transmission when you spin them. To be honest, just weigh your options, most people recommend the gear driven stuff because it's cheap and serviceable. The main thing is just to have a dedicated space for it. If you have to keep whipping it out everytime you want to use it, you're just going to let it sit.
>>737455402>If you have to keep whipping it out everytime you want to use it, you're just going to let it sit.Yeah guess I'll have to let the idea of getting one sit instead.
>>737454497you don't need a direct drive wheel$300 starter logitech or thrustmaster will do just fine
Bought driving force pro over 20 years ago for ps2 gran turismo. Works in windows 11 without even needing drivers.
>>737455790NOOO YOU NEeD A DIRECT DRIVE just kidding you don't need a direct drive[/spolier]
>>737454497Its like 500 dollars, how poor are you
>>737456229No one's fucking hiring man, shit's tough
