SPD should also beat light>throw but if you're on classic then cranking it out in time is a very tall order and even on modern you need to consider that the fast input SPD has the least range. You might very well be whiffing and getting hit by their attack before you can even register that you missed. A way to tell is if you're getting punish countered or regular countered. I'm still not seeing what is making some players think Faust came out ahead in the most recent Strive patch. Like it purely feels like Trumpet is the only good change, but it being easier to nab doesn't really amount to much when Faust's access to safe item toss is still relatively limited and you're still having to pray for a trumpet.Like it got a chuckle out of me watching the recent TNS tournament, and they were talking up the item toss change and how it was "basically impossible to steal trumpet now," and like, IMMEDIATELY afterwards, the Faust player loses a trumpet because they need to double dip after pulling Afro, and being near-fullscreen from someone before the second pull wasn't safe enough to do that.
