I’ve never seen a franchise get forgotten so fast. It used to be one of the most popular franchises in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Somewhere around 2015-2016 it feel like all fans of the franchise and game discussion VANISHED off this planet. You will never see or find a BioShock fan, just a rare millenial that once thought the games were decent. How did this happen?

first bioshock game i played was infinite. i got intrigued simply because i nutted so hard on its r34. the game was a let down and i should have played on hard mode than normal. it is just so casual an fps game. the dlc got to me a bit because it is much harder and i liked that. however, i disliked elizabeth after the main campaign because of her decision to let her father kill himself even after all they've been through and with all her super powers bullshit unlocked that i just don't care finishing the dlcs and just read the story in the wiki. then found out she is still shit in the dlc's story.then i get to play bioshock 1 and holy shit if i compare it to infinite, that bioshock "definitely-not-3" is so ass, gameplay-wise and story-wise! haven't played bioshock 2 because of steam backlogs i gotta do first.just nut to elizabeth porn instead, but my whole perception of that bitch is just tarnished forever.

In Bioshock 1 if nothing else, it's pragmatic and cynically efficient to choose the good path. You can choose the good path completely amorally and benefit. You're rewarded more resources for doing the good thing. That's a very easy choice to make, it's not even a choice.If you're accepting the moral narrative provided by the devs that bitter revenge is a bad example to set and one should be a forgiving Christlike figure to set the best example for your daughter, even though based on what you know you probably really want to kill, that's a choice you actually make to "earn" the ending where Eleanor has an outlook embracing hope, light, and life instead of nihilism, despair, and death.
