RC is still the only game where the AI stays strong as difficulty increases. In any other game with a squad, they are usually useless and a detriment past normal difficulty, but you rely on the squad so much on hard mode that you really lost without them.

this is probably in my top 20 games somewhere, not sure if its in the top 10 but it could be. i long for the days of episode 3 being around the corner or being relatively new. the stores jam packed with cool star wars shit and all the games were awesome. star wars was in a renaissance. in just a few years we got battlefront 1 and 2, lego star wars, republic commando, and KOTOR. thats just off the top of my head. RC is basically the gold standard IMO for a squad based cover shooter, the only thing thats somewhat similar but not as cool is rainbow six vegas 2. and when Halo ODST came out i was pissed off it didnt go with the blueprint this game gave us.
