>>737478376It's not made out to be one, since Sadie never faces consequences for shooting at the O'Driscolls during Colm's hanging, or for raiding Hanging Dog Ranch, or for stabbing a guy's hand in the Blackwater saloon. She's the only character to get revenge and sate her bloodlust with no caveats or drawbacks. She gets stabbed in American Venom, but she's perfectly fine by the end of the mission and fucks off to go be an epic girlboss in Guatemala or some shit.She could've been a compelling character if she were a weak but belligerent former housewife who willingly gets corrupted by the gang's influence and turns into a cutthroat killer in service of avenging her husband, and either dies in pursuit of said revenge, or loses herself and becomes a markedly different person upon achieving it (which would make her speech after wiping out the O'Driscolls more poignant and tragic). Instead, she's essentially non-present in chapter 2 and immediately becomes a badass outlaw gunslinger after a change of clothes in chapter 3, and from then on, she's the same overbearing competent girlboss she is in the epilogue. Such shit. Mary Beth is much hotter anyway.
