In the Ordinary Recruit banner, you get to wishlist up to 20 Nikkes after however many pulls. And you also get up to 10 picks between Helm, Liter, Tia, Naga, and Alice. You can get a guaranteed Alice from doing the Day By Day event, then the Alice Diary event, as well. As a beginner, I'd prioritize getting Helm once first, so you can have her collect materials for her Favorite Item mechanic as soon as possible. Then get Liter, and go from there. Get at least 5 Nikkes that have 4 copies each so they have 3 stars, called a Major Limit Break. If you don't do this. Only level 5 Nikkes, rest can be synced up with the Synchro Device at the Outpost.
Don't use the boxes that give you X amount of resource collected per hour until you have 5 Nikkes reach level 200. You'll get more of those resources depending on how many story missions you've cleared. Red boxes are the most valuable, blue boxes are the least valuable.

To add to the Story Mode. In your Command Room there's now a "Storyline" section where you can check the events and chapters in chronological and order of release. Do them in release order to get the best context on everything that's happening. She's not a antagonist anymore. She helps out with upgrading the Matis squad for the levi chase mission and that's really it for her. She's completely docile.

I'm having a real hard time deciding between adapting to a two handed or one handed approach for the 4 buttons. Tried both ways and got confused both times, though I would say it is a bit easier to handle the main rhythm with one dominant hand and leave the other only for swipes and hold notes. The only problem with one hand is finding an arrangement of four keys that is comfortable for my pinky finger, but maybe I just have to rotate the keyboard just right. Moving up to Intermediate straight from Beginner so that I don't get complacent and settle into the easy mode speed.
