Honestly, the core combat and movement mechanics are pretty damn good. The rest is either okay to outright bad. Still a good time when you just fuck off and blast shit. Kinda compare it to Dragon's Dogma 2 in that regard. DD2 had better combat, however, both games are better when you just fuck off to go wreck shit. DD2 definitely had more random shit to explore and mess with and that says A LOT about how empty Forspoken is.
