Pic related is my fav, but either of the Oracle games, Link's Awakening, and Wario Land 2/3 are pretty great too. I replayed Pokemon Crystal a couple years ago and really enjoyed it, but it's a divisive game so ymmv.

If you like platformers, the Wario Land series is pretty great
Don't sleep on Donkey Kong, after the first four stages that mimic the arcade game, there's dozens more original stages
