Edward's mannersisms in the original indicate unease, a bit of mistrust, some bravado. The raised chin, face to the side and his palm to the bottom for the handshake. The remake completely recontextualizes this interaction. I don't like it.

I don't think the character changes look bad at all outside of Edward in the bed where he looks like a corpse, but I don't know why they removed the storm from when Edward and Ade team up because that was the entire point of that bit as the soldiers were trying to deal with that while Edward and Ade took over the ship.>>737524615They were doing it before Shadows and Skull & Bones happened.
