Only spent one night at pic related, but was easily the most memorable so far. I kind of love the inland roads here. I haven't been the one driving, but they're pretty winding and hilly, and there's big stretches where it feels like you're the only one in the world because of the sheer lack of other traffic.Second time I've been here (north island first time), and it's definitely different from australia in some ways, but still feels very familiar of course. The place really has a lot to offer in a relatively small area.

AC6, Damn I forgot about the game entirely and just picked it up on a whim, just started a fresh game and just got to chapter 2, cleared the arenas. weirdly enough had more trouble with sulla leading up to the baltaeus fight than baltaeus itself. My only grievance with ac6 is the guns feel kinda lame and I really miss fixed arm weapons instead of all arms being manipulators, otherwise having a blast. Stellaris, current run is going good if only maybe a bit boring. About to go curbstop a neighbors capital because I think the kaledioscope event procced there. not sure how it'll play out if I just carpet bomb the system and secure the event for the artifact. Thats on the to do list after the merc fleet I hired goes and teaches shard thats my territory. I have a lucrative secondary sector planned out but I gotta tie up some loose ends before I can shuffle assets around and start building up the 5 planets in it.

So I wrote a story that's sort of a dystopian black mirror thing. Two dads compete against each other to style a clients hair as fast as possible, while their child is in a glass tank behind them filling with water. They have 30 minutes. Its in a sort of hunger games universe where there is a live studio audience, a flamboyant announcer, the clients are bourgeois, a humilating game show. Mostly told through the MCs thoughts which fleshes out the backstory and universe, while maintaining tension by the audience and announcer counting down the 30 minute timer. So instead of a battle with two people physically fighting (which I always find boring to read) its a competition. I think it is unique enough to place in some form. The main prize is a couple grand which would be nice. Ive been published a couple times, I like having restrictions to write within.
