What are your expectations for the Gabecube? The Steam Machine looks to be less powerful than PS5/Xbox SeX and will be more expensive so its a hard sell for me personally.

I was interested when it was first announced. Then I just built a new PC and put my old one in living room, cancelled all my subscriptions, and use it as a gaming and media server streaming center. I think the only appeal it would have at it's current price is for consolefags too scared to build a PC and too poor for a prebuilt.
