The best part about this game was watching the dev diaries as he was making it. There's a ton of ~~TECHNOLOGY~~ in the game. I remember my mind being blown watching the video where he was showcasing bleeding wounds that drip based on gravity.

Unfortunately, the guy was much more of a programmer than a game developer, and the game itself sucks. Choc full of cool stuff though.

I like that it adds a mix of platforming and physics. You can run then do a jump-kick and send an enemy flying. You can feel the weight because it's based on your velocity and timing. The greater the momentum, the more damage you do too. And it's very fast

Most combat in 3D games now are like
>press this button to perform this fixed 3 second attack animation. This is considered our fastest move you will watch on repeat. No, you don't get a quick jab or kick or something.
>let me automatically gravitate your character to the enemy
>the enemy won't react if you hit them. Maybe they'll flash white or flinch to indicate getting hurt, but you can't actually move them. At best, they'll fly upwards in a fixed trajectory after you do a powerful move on them.
It takes away your control and makes motion kinda pointless. Feels like I'm watching a shitty movie.
