Honestly I think it's too late. Two full generations (this gen is functionally over, no one's starting projects for current systems, only finishing) of complete and inarguable xbox failure, the brand is a laughing stock, a joke. They had some points of value like when they made every system have basic dev utility, which let people make emulators. Then they took away that capability from people who paid for it, for no real reason, then gave it back again a few years later. Just total bullshit for no reason.Game pass turned from an opportunity to be the netflix of gaming subs to a joke, $30 a month? get the fuck out. $23 a month is still a fucking joke. Not even netflix is that greedy, and they ARE (or were) a market leader in the category. They lost enormous slices of subscribers they had over the last 2 years because of the massive price increases for shit like fucking fortnite crew.Now they're backpedalling hoping they can recoup, but it's way too late. They're also super involved in cloud gaming which, no matter how hard any company tries, has not been successful in the slightest sense in the US. nvidia talked about how costly it was to run servers that don't even serve the fucking games as a part of the subscription price, and said they don't make any money on it. They had to add a fucking hourly limit to a $20/mo plan to TRY and make some money off of it, and are still failing, to the point they're scaling back the entire program (because AI is more profitable to them)It's all a joke, xbox as a brand is turbofucked. If she can pull it off, great. But that means exclusives, which are going to take years to come out, at which point xbox will have gone a full 2 and change generations, over 15 fucking years, and no longer be relevant to the market at all, besides being the butt of jokes as it is right now.
