Can we agree that SupCom has the best moment-to-moment strategy and, thus, the best castability? T1 spam, T2 pushes, T3 rushes, and experimentals vastly change up the status quo throughout a match. This can happen on land, as navy, and in the air, massively diversifying what happens every game. Moment-to-moment storyworth is *the* defining aspect of fun. The more fun it is to describe, the more enjoyable it is.

Even then I don't think there is much the supcom MP community can do to bring new players to try it out by themselves, unless they get a well known youtuber to review the game thus leading up a spike in the playerbase the game is doomed to have the same players doing the same plays over and over.

SupCom experienced players have similar strategy-and-counter times over the course of games. I don't think it's hard to have meta times. Do you really think less scale is beneficial to experienced BAR players? Doesn't the power creep of SupCom feel much better and more strategic across all the buildings and units available? I *would* say that various strategies can have extremely competitive times. It's maybe not always advantageous to solo build vs. the enemy team when you could always be more efficient with cooperative strategies, but a lot of options can be really effective. I think the choice between lower level spam and higher level rushing (including experimentals) is much more skill expressive than what I've seen of BAR. Ecoing can have players at multiples of unaware or inexperienced players, but this increases the importance of scouting and taking safety measures like shields and tactical missile defense, which can be easy to do.

a strategy is your overall plan for winning the game based on your knowledge of the game, the matchup, the map, your opponent, etc.

these are all strategies.

a tactic is an action or sequence of actions meant to accomplish some kind of short term goal as part of your overall strategy.

these are tactics.

a unit composition is simply stating what you intend to build. it can be part of your strategy or it can be a reaction to your opponent.

these are statements about unit compositions.

a build order is a predetermined sequence of actions meant to get you to a desired game state at the start of a match. your build order depends on your overall strategy.
