It's boring and shit just like every rockstar game. The gameplay is bad, the story is bad, the only appeal was the open world and thats not good enough these days
I liked it but after I got bored to death by GTA 5 I will never revisit 4 just in case it's also shit and I simply didn't notice

Tedious mission design, atleast the PS2 games had shit RC missions to change it up sometimes. GTA4, and frankly just most of Rockstar games, is watching a cutscene, driving halfway across the map to kill a few people then either drive back to end the mission or drive somewhere to start the next one.

I do like the story and think it's probably the most "realistic" GTA story we've gotten. I also like the way the heroin/diamonds tie in all 3 protags: Niko, Luis, and Johnny. I will say I still need to finish TBoGT.

>>737580061My favorite GTA game by far. The characters are appealing, the story is solid, and the world feels alive. The gameplay is definitely worse than GTA 5, but it's still fun. I wish one of the future GTA games has a similar "darker" story, since 5's felt way too generic, as if it was trying to be a low budget action movie.
