I'm thinking Bethesda fits the bill for using their ancient ass engine, pushing buggy shit, and refusing to utilize their big IP to its full potential. Sega is also incompetent but in a different way, see: Hyenas and the consistent mediocrity of Sonic games

These are all good responses. Square Enix just came to mind too. They made Forspoken and FF16, fucked up their "break glass in case of emergency" idea with time jannies, and went all in on NFTs. Then they made an entire expansion in their one performing game about a cat voiced by a tranny and had to post a public apology letter for their poor financial performance. I thought they really were the most incompetent of them all.........
