About to do my second ever playthrough. Last was at launch. What am I in for? This version is vanilla + DLC, not actually Scholar.

Be smart and don't rush up to an enemy as soon as you see them. DaS 2 was made with a 'slow and methodical' pace in mind and it tries to enforce this by putting a dozen enemies around each other so that they will gank you if you just rush in. Pulling singles with throwing knives or a bow will help a lot in this game.
