Actually I take it back. DS3 was the weakest of the souls games, because everything that was good about it, Elden Ring did one million times better. There is literally no reason to play DS3 outside of the lore.

>>737584308Whenever I replay DS2, I always go with Scholar. It's just a lot less tedious. The original game just feels so unfair and unbalanced with the amount of ganks it throws at you that you just have to deal with and get through. Scholar gives you a lot more counterplay and changes how enemies react to you so it makes it a lot easier to deal with. Unless the sole reason you're playing is for the difficulty, I'd go with Scholar. Even though it's a lot easier, it's just so much more enjoyable for me.
