I've decided to fantasize about improvements to the pawn system
>pawns personalities develop as they progress through the game
>as they get stronger they start being more confident, maybe even overconfident, instead of treating every goblin like an existential threat
>if a particular enemy bodies them hard enough or often enough they develop a fear or grudge towards it
>your personal pawn can get jealous of hired pawns depending on how you treat them
>pawns can form friendship bonds with other pawns when hired at the same time and get unique interactions and lines from it, even happily celebrating if they reunite with a friend pawn after some time
>pawns are more willing to speak out about an arisen's flaws, hired pawns especially, some are judgemental about it while others offer advice on team composition and playstyle
>low level pawns have reactions to significantly higher level pawns and/or arisen, ranging from excitement to awe to insecurity
>high level pawns have reactions to low level pawns/arisen, ranging from being protective, guiding them, looking down on them, etc.
>pawns develop opinions on other npcs, their opinions carry into other players games although they never say anything spoilery directly
>you can give your pawn leave while in town and they'll go hang out with other pawns
>pawns hanging out in town might play games with each other, get in arguments about whose arisen is better, train, go drinking, maybe just enjoy some peace and quiet by themselves depending on their personality
