>>737591970You should add girls that you can dress in cute outfits
The broccoli haired zoomer idiots who now infest this board have no idea what Yie Ar Kung Fu is, and consequently, your project is doomed to ridicule. Do not do this again.
>>737592126>>737592036Fuck off tourist>>737592034>>737592052Acceptable
>>737591970The game itself looks fun. I would stick to the pixel style even with the backgrounds. Is this in MUGEN?
>>737592259Is 2D fighter maker 2002.
>>737592034>>737592036fuck off retards>>737591970the game looks amazing op, keep it up
>>737591970>>737591970I seem to recall you could sound the gong with a flying kick. Or maybe it was when you won a match?Dunno, but you better put that in your game, shit was so cash.
>>737592295K that works. It looked like a MUGEN game, but it's a sort of mark of quality that you used something else.
>>737591970Seems cool for what it is, but the look needs a bit of work. Specifically, choose one pixel density/resolution and stick with it. Right now you've got the chonk pixel guys, the obviously pixelated but using smaller pixels portraits, and the background which is closer to SNES fidelity than NES on top of also having smaller pixels. Could be interesting if you have a plan in mind for there to be a reason for the differences beyond being(probably) placeholder graphics. Might look into incorporating actual kung fu match rulesets for tourney modes. There could also be no-rules fights that let you do shenanigans(like WWF x kung fu). If you want to get ultra-fancy you could add currency you get by scoring certain ways or even doing shit like breaking all the pots in a match(or banging that gong a bunch, heh), which you use to buy upgrades for your guy in the single-player campaign(presuming there will be multiplayer, those shouldn't apply). Sort of River City Ransom style. If a pure Kung Fu remake is all you're after, disregard and stick to your chosen scope.
>>737591970Interesting. You should post this to /vr/.
>>737592959yeah, mugen is the more popular 2D fighter engine.but 2D fighter maker is still a good engine, even if a bit old.
