Why doesn't the series get the sales and recognition that it deserves? The first two games were genuinely great, but it never caught on. Now, even with Nintendo dumbing down the games with 3 and 4, and sanding down everything that made the first two games unique, people still aren't interested. What went so horribly wrong with Pikmin?

Moving candy colored bugs around a map is not the kind of gameplay that has mass appeal. But if it makes you feel better, I’ve met more Pikmin fans IRL than Horizon fans.
