It's always so fucking funny when people use guys like DSP as the reason why games are so easy these days and full of yellow paint but i honestly believe there's a lot more to it, especially if you look at vtubers.I recently watched Henya the "Genius" play Half-Life series and she somehow didn't realize she could break the window in the office complex level.Tenma from Phase Connect had the same problem too with trying to find out where to go and what to do and couldn't somehow didn't see shit like lambda boxes that you can break when she was low on health during the place where you need to launch the rocket. There was another vtuber called Miwa who had no idea that you could use the fucking logs against hunters in Episode 2, both she and also Henya said how "stressful" that part where you have to defend the rocket is even though they could have made them so much easier by throwing the logs towards hunters with gravity gun.Henya also somehow didn't realize she could carry one of those magnusson devices behind a car even though it was LITERALLY FUCKING EXPLAINED TO HER.I get that chat is part of the problem because it takes attention away from the game they are playing with donations and constant chatting, trying to talk about whatever too but it's clearly not the case all the time, especially since you can notice this incompetence with low view vtubers like Miwa too. Like mentioned, it could be possible that chat is the reason or one of the reasons why they fail so badly but it also doesn't explain why they are talking with the chat while there's a cutscene playing and telling you what to do or where to go. My biggest guess is that they simply just don't care about video games and are just pretending to like them, most games they start are usually left unfinished or they have a huge need to finish them as fast as possible, always asking how more there is left of the game or how close they are to ending, not even reading the lore the game gives or asking about it or anything like that. Games like GTA 5 also does have a lot of side quests but they only focus on the main story and if or when they are done with the main story, they never play the game again. It could be also because they simply follow some shitty meme trend, like Lamar saying "niggggaaaaa" in GTA 5, feels like a lot of vtubers like Pippkin Pippa also played it just for that one scene since she even did a whole presentation for that scene which i admit was a bit funny but after that she played the game only like 2 or 3 times more and then never went back to it ever again. Vtubers like Pippa also have a huge need to constantly pause the game on almost every single scene and add her opinion on almost everything for 10 minutes or more and that's pretty much the whole stream usually.
