It'd been completed for like a year before it actually released, they were already onto the next thing. Game is very stable anyway, the real issues are tied to the core design of the game and aren't going to be able to be patched, I'm in the minority of people that enjoyed the game, though yeah it was still a huge letdown and felt very dated.

It saddens me that they neglected to fix the long loading bug that happens occasionally. Once in a blue moon, loading into Sol Valley will take five minutes, and it's common to mistake it for the game freezing.

No, it happened on Switch 1 and Switch 2. I saw a streamer get it on his S1, and I got it a week ago on S2. I thought it froze, it was several minutes of the pod flying through the air, you know the screen, and I was about to close the game, I went to the dashboard to see if the console was still responding, it was, I went back to the game and it finally finished. This close to closing the game due to it, lol.
