>>737607634i only played the first three but the whole trilogy was pure kino. i think 2 was my favorite, even though it was one of the most bleak games i've ever experienced. and the finale of 1 where you finally realize why it's called 'one more time' was a god tier conclusion. i was pretty satisfied after that and from a glance the rest of the series seems kinda weird and different compared to those three and apparently the quality is all over the place with some entries too, so i still havent gotten to any of them yet lol

The chance that EVERY game out of 20 in a series made by a single developer is good, is basically zero. You're guaranteed to get some stinkers. Considering that most so called "Amazing" RPG devs just make a single game and then vanished into the ether, I think it's actually kind of amazing that the Towelket dev continues to pump out games.My advice is to either truck through the lower quality games, or to just skip to Nekoashi Otome if you really only have the time for the best. The worst games in the Towelket series aren't even that bad compared to other RPG maker games, they're just considered bad because the best games are so amazing that they look worse in comparison. I think the only game I'd genuinely call bad is Towelket 6 because it's clear the dev just gave up near the end.It's not like the games rely on each other's stories so you aren't missing out on anything by just skipping ahead, and you can always go back anyways.
