So why didn't they just bring Lao's wife and kid along? It would've stopped all of the conflict in Xenoblade X before it began. Surely two billionares could stay behind to make room. Humans aren't that self indulgent, right?
Yeah, I don't get it, why don't all fictional characters just act in a way that prevents any kind of interesting story from being told? I am very very autistic so seeing fictional characters not be perfect beings of pure logic that never behave irrationally or inefficiently and solve all of the problems before the story even begins makes me screech like a howler monkey and literally shit myself into orbit.
