DMC is unplayable after MGR. The quality just isn't there. It falls short in gameplay, story, and the rule of cool. It doesn't satisfy that craving for peak action like MGR does. Prove me wrong.

mgr is parryslop and qte's the video game with the odd semi-forced stealth segment where if you don't do stealth a deliberately annoying as fuck fight breaks out and half the levels are bland as fuck office/warehouse buildings or sewer, it's carried entirely by the 11/10 presentation during the boss fights

almost all posters itt are retards but i do think, after my revengeance run, that mgr is worse than dmc. raiden's moveset doesn't have much leeway compared to the average dmc character and is generally lacking in useful combos, and ironically parries are inferior to the dodge, which still felt wonky and unresponsive sometimes. the side weapons aren't fun to use too. side characters aren't that fun too.it's still a good game and imo has one of the best stories in gaming ever, but u can see how it falls short even by plat's standards
