I'd put NSMBU as a full package probably below DS but above the rest. I have the most nostalgia for Wii but the issue people have with U is that it's that game but again. Looking at 2 you will see there are other things to dislike a NSMB game for and U isn't guilty of much besides "doing it again" and as far as gameplay goes I prefer it to Wonder because it doesn't stop you for any overly distracting gimmicks and quirky flowers with a pale imitation of Charles Martinet bing bing wahooing the way through. Luigi U is a great bonus that puts an already high game even higher.

>>737619337That's funny because I fucking suck at controlling Mario and even just beating SMB NES games and even NSMBDS and Odyssey was a struggle for me, but Luigi U I did 100% and found it very reasonable. I mean sure a few of the levels were tricky, but 100% only took me like 14 hours and was never frustratingI loved the way shorter but more dense/difficult stages and the way Luigi controlled, he somehow felt way more intuitive than Mario to me.I still never 100%ed any of the NSMB games and would probably ragequit if ai tried to.
