Why do anons on here say that immersive sims are a made up term when they're very different from most first person RPGs? They're still RPGs but how they're designed is way different than something like TES or Fallout. There's no level scalling, a mimic in Prey will not sudenly survive a fully upgraded shotgun blast because you decided to spec into hacking. They're generaly designed around enviromental interactivity and systems that you engage with in different ways depending on your build. While other RPGs are designed around stats and raw damage numbers.
