Some of these are good but mainly Trials of Mana.
Remakes tend to have a different artistic vision and if it's not the same game then it won't replace the original, but this doesn't mean remakes are inherently bad. I can't say I really like the trend of just going back and reusing old ideas though, because there should be new ideas, and they should be good. One of the biggest problems with the current industry is that those new ideas are not good whatsoever.

A bunch of these were ports/remasters, not remakes. And I mean actual remasters that took the game as is and simply made it available in HD like God of War or Ratchet and Clank, not modern remasters that change the lightning and textures and make both worse.

The R&C remasters made the games worse by making effects break (That they had to use hacks on the PS2 to even get looking right which they couldn't replicate), dropped the performance, or introduced brand new glitches like having the Gadgetron tour bot in GC not say his lines at all and either get stuck or just move to each station after standing at a spot for a while.

Deadlocked is probably one of the worst remasters I've played. The Robot Graveyard drops to single digit framerates and there's a permanent animation stutter in all cutscenes every quarter of a second so you are constantly seeing a stuttering cutscene every time. The game also opens up with the tutorial area cutscene have this happen. One of the first cutscenes in the game.

I seem to recall someone telling me the Jak and Sly remasters were also done poorly and broke a lot of the visuals.
