I found one of my old Goosebumps books cleaning out my mums attic and it lead me down this rabbit hole of a bunch of youtube channels where millenial 90's kids hoard vast collections of stuff like Goosebumps, Fear Street, Point Horror and Shiver and the like and it reminded me just how much horror for kids us millenial uncs grew up with.

There were some games like Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Ghost Master or that xbox spiritual successor to Zombies ate my Nieghbours but its kind of odd given how popular horror games were in the 90's that Luigi's Mansion is basically the only notable mainstream hit that takes the formula and spins it for kids.

Why do you think that never happened? did corpos just think "Pocket Monsters" was the same thing and saturated the market?
