What's the best budget gaming monitor you can find now /v/?
>>73762917132inc is too big for a desktop. I also fell for the meme and switched back to the previous one, and I'm using the 32 one as a TV.>What's the best budget gaming monitor you can find now /v/My Acer KG251Q was a very good pick yrs ago with its 240Hz.
Is it true that 1440p is an underwhelming upgrade to 1080p? Should I just go for 4k? I don't play many new big budget games so the performance cost shouldnt be a big deal.
>>737631162Terrible advice
>>737631162felt the same, my 32 is just the side monitor for discord, shows and wikis now
>>737631162>32inc is too big for a desktop.Anything under 40" is far too small for a desktop in 2026.
>>7376291711440p is a bit too low for 32" unfortunately, get a 27" one. As for "budget" I don't know, what's your budget?
This is my budget monitor while i wait for a good 1440 240hz microled
>>737632050forgot the picture, i wasnt talking about ops monitor
QD-RGB-OLED
>>737632050>1440 240hz microledBy the time we will get μLED no one will think about making 1440p displays, just like no one thinks about making 720p or 1080p OLED monitors.
>>737631369>Is it true that 1440p is an underwhelming upgrade to 1080p?no4k is a meme for TV and movies, not vidya
I think this makes for a nice backup monitor.
>>737635346800R curve alone makes this monitor unusable.
>>737632115>KTCenjoy your dead pixels 6 months in lmao
MSI, Philips or Gigabyte?
>>737636283Read multiple reviews, brand doesn't matter.
>>737636557It does, different brands have different warranty policies, though different product ranges might also have different policies, read before you buy. I worked as tech support for ASUS and if you RMA'd a monitor they'd send you a refurbished one even if your monitor was barely over a month old.
>>737636718I'm Youropoor I don't have to deal with manufacturer, I sent my stuff back to the retailer. So instead I would not simply buy from the retailer with poor reputation.
>>737636930That was ASUS UK's policy, but I'm pretty sure it was the same in the EU. In any case I managed to kill the USB hub on my Dell Ultrasharp monitor this year and Dell sent me a brand new one a couple of days later, so I ain't ever buying some chinkshit monitor even if it's cheaper.
>>737635525For my type of gaming, AI says otherwise:The 800R curve is tuned to more closely follow the human field of view than other curvatures.Benefit: It fully envelopes your peripheral vision. In Street Fighter 6, that places the Drive Gauge and health bars within your peripheral “strike zone,” so you can monitor meters without shifting your gaze; your brain detects color changes more intuitively because the screen edges sit at the same distance from your retinas as the center.“Wrap” effect: For emulation and retro setups, an 800R curve can recreate the feeling of being inside a classic cockpit or a premium arcade cabinet.
>>737638164>AI says otherwiseSorry I don't care to read your post anymore.

>>737629171I'm using this monitor, Acer Gamer Nitro Nitro XV271U.27", IPS, 1440p and 180Hz. $170.00 in Amazon. I really like it, the only complaint that I have is that there's a good amount of backlight on the sides, but it's usually only noticeable if you play in the dark.
