If there's some form of romance in 12, do you think they'll stick with the childhood friend being the only love interest, or will they acknowledge that obviously a lot of players would prefer one of the girls you spend the journey with? They added the Jessica ending in 8 3DS, and added other options in 11. They gave the princess a ton of romantic dialogue in 1HD when you keep her with you. Maybe they've realized. I haven't seen many explicit complaints about Eliza in 4, but I guess it's technically open-ended.
