Absolutely no sense in having a GameCube, a Wii, and a Wii U. Wii's GC BC has errors, Wii U's Wii BC doesn't. Worst case scenario, if you feel a Wii game REALLY needs to be on a CRT, you can buy a converter box.

Complaining about new games is for losers. I just don't play shit that doesn't interest me and if no new games are made that interest me, I'll do something else. Still, there are usually a few decent games a year and a few gems accidentally play that keep me interested.
