Anyone know what these guardians are yet? Getting to the temple and the nowhere area seems random. And there's a lot of debug test in the console that I don't think they meant to keep in.

Walk up the rainbow from the well screen and into the temple to get the nowhere thing. The errors in that temple might be a hint, they reference 15 buttons on that screen.

Followed a guardian up the mountain, flashed red with a brief popup and kicked me back out to the home page.

So, what's up with the colored highlighted letters? In game i got the letters "E, F O, D and R" from the signs, and that page has "J A W S". I'm sure there are others. An anagram solver online can use these letters to spell out "Foresaw" if that's relevant to anything...

Based on >>737641272 it's seems to be just finding 4 consecutive words and typing them into the well.

1 - find the player who's comments broke the third community rule - thewailing

2 - not one story, but many. A collection bound together. Find it where fiction is folded into cartoons

3 - A name that does not belong here. It wanders an abandoned land. It seeks validation in pages for hand crafted creations. A word that shall act as a key in the address of someone that it is trying to be

4 - Shattered across a colorful yet empty world. Explore the land and over the rainbow. Each piece contains special letters.
Arrange them in the order lettered (?) that is your message.

I think he says 'form a rainbow'. In the order of colors you find the letters, it'd spell "ofred" ...not sure if that's right. Didn't do anything to the well. I also tried each word consecutively in order of colors and nothing still. Hmmm...

I don't know. ARGs actually used to be huge, community driven things that could take months to do and had a bunch of real-life events that would only ever get solved if people gave enough of a shit.

Hey dev, if you're here:

That was cute. Fun little thing, the horror element was a little mild because it was so cute, I liked the big in-game finale thing. Things just aren't really scary in reality, and once you've seen one thing like this you've kind of seen all of them. I think by including everything at once you sort of hobbled the reach this could have, so for next project (if you decide to do something like this again - Which, as a creative, I might try to dissuade you from just so you don't get stuck) I would recommend releasing things a bit at a time. Having everything easily cruised in a day is a bit eh.

Then again it's a Neocities page so you can't really protect from everything, right? Your root page will always be accessible.

That said, you should be proud you actually finished something. I like your art. Hope to see more of it some day.

No content created on the modern internet is created to "try something fun". That ship sailed more than a decade ago. At best the creator wants it to take off so they can make money to actually do what they want. At worst they're just another talentless social retard trying to cash in on zoomer adoration for millennial interests by making more mascot horror/creepypasta ARG bullshit instead of actual stories or games.
>>
The overall style was fun, though I think a few puzzles were a bit too obtuse (a problem I have with a lot of ARGs). For example, wandering around after not being able to interact with much and finding the highlighted letters happened naturally (though I never thought to sort them by color because I didn't transcribe that information when I wrote them in my notes), and so did figuring out the password based on the comments, but some of it has a very "you're supposed to hear about it from the guy who found it first" feel and not "focus and review everything with an attentive eye and you can probably figure it out yourself!" which is what turns me off of a lot of ARG stuff, like it doesn't really expect you to engage with it directly. Based on the creator's account on twitter, they seem to be used to doing things with community followings and probably made the project with that in mind. Also, considering the "PROSHIPPERS DNI" type stuff on one of their other pages, I sincerely doubt they use this site at all, someone just posted it here (to anyone who assumed the dev made this thread)
>>
I don't get it
