Sure, it badly needed a sequel that expanded on everything that made the first one good, and that never happened, but still, 8.5/10 game.

If the user has neither of those in balance then the Triforce splits and you only receive the piece that most represents the values you cherish most. There was also a centuries long war of just random people throwing themselves at the gates of the Sacred Realm to try and retrieve the Triforce for who knows what they would've wished for. It got so bad that the King of Hyrule has to get 7 wise men to seal it away from the rest of the world forever.

You just need to retrieve all three pieces of the Triforce after you break it to make it whole again and get your wish.
